About Us

The Transworld Hope Foundation is a charitable project of the Makueni Sister Corporation, a  nonprofit organization.

The purpose of TransWorld Hope Foundation is to assist the poor, women, and children in Kenya who have been affected by HIV AIDS. Orphans (due to HIV related death) and vulnerable children often do not have enough food to eat, have no access to clean water, proper medical care, cannot attend school, and face abuse and neglect. In many cases, they must care for sick and dying parents as well as younger siblings.

Majority of the poor in Kenya live in rural areas far away from big cities and government administration centers, where meager services are provided. The highest percentage of the poor includes single mothers and their children. Majority of these people are also HIV positive or their parents have died due to AIDS.

In addition to meeting daily needs, we want to be able to provide assistance like trained counselors to look after these children, help them to learn how to care for themselves and become self sustaining.

Our goal is to help these people and children, along with their neighboring communities gain access to things like clean water, nutritious food, health care, education, and more. We want to be able to have staff that is compassionate, hardworking and able to show love to these people as they address communities' critical needs and become healthy and self-sustaining.
