Trinity Church is an Episcopal Church, one of 185 parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut.
Trinity Church was started as a mission in 1748 and established as a church in 1784. Our present church building was built in 1852.
As Episcopalians, our worship is characterized by our use of the Book of Common Prayer. We celebrate the sacraments, especially the major sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Eucharist, in obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Trinity Church is a welcoming, inclusive church. We welcome worshippers from all backgrounds and every Christian tradition. We are a community who recognizes the loving presence of God as revealed in the person of Jesus Christ. In our common life together and in our outreach beyond our Church doors, we strive to grow together in Christ, supporting one another in representing Christ to the world.
