Our Vision and Our Mission at Trinity Presbyterian Church

We believe here at Trinity Presbyterian Church of Aledo, it is through Evangelism, Discipleship, and the bold Proclamation of the Word that we seek to glorify God as we use every Biblical means available to gather and perfect the saints.  These primary activities encompass every area of our lives, both private, as well as public, and are centered on the glorious activity of worship within the context of the covenant community.  As we worship privately and corporately, train individual members concerning correct doctrine and appropriate application through Christian education, participate in small group ministries, attend to "real life" needs of the body through mercy ministries and reach out into the community and the world through our outreach ministries, our purpose as a local church serving the Lord Jesus Christ in West Central Illinois will be fulfilled

Finally, we at Trinity desire to be, warm, gracious, inviting, open, and non-judgmental; yet holding strong convictions that always are based on the Bible as God's final Word. It is our absolute and unwavering conviction that to be strong in truth without being gentle in manner is unbiblical. It is also our profound conviction that to be gentle in manner while not adhering to scriptural truth is also unbiblical.

By God's grace, we will be both as we press on in the Lord's grand design for Trinity Presbyterian Church to be used in Western Illinois and to the ends of the whole world.
