Mission Statement

Tri-West Middle School, in a collaborative effort of students, parents, staff, and community will challenge all individuals to become life-long learners. In a safe, technology-rich environment, students will be empowered to develop communication and critical thinking skills, and maximize their unique potential as productive, responsible and respectful citizens.

Tri-West Middle School meets the federal requirement that all of our teachers are highly qualified. Each teacher has obtained full State certification as a teacher or passed the State teacher licensing examination, holds a license to teach in the State of Indiana, and does not have certification or licensure requirements waived on an emergency, temporary, or provisional basis. Furthermore, all teachers hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree and have demonstrated subject matter competency in each of the core academic subjects in which he or she teaches, in a manner determined by the State of Indiana and in compliance with Section 9101 (23) of ESEA 20 U.S.C. 7801 (23).
