The Union County Saddle Club was organized in 1986 in Blairsville. The purpose of the Saddle Club is to promote the equine industry and recreation. Our top priority is to benefit the health, safety, and welfare of the horse and rider of all skill levels. The Union County Saddle Club is dedicated to adding value to our fellow horsemen and to our local community as well. We are a non-profit [Section 501 (c) 3] community based, family oriented organization comprised of all volunteer members that are dedicated to the education and skill development in all disciplines pertaining to equine activities.
Our Club operates in Northeast Georgia, under aegis the Union County Recreation Department, at Union County Arena. It is conveniently located on Nottely Dam Road (Hwy. 325), just off of Highway 515, between Blairsville and Blue Ridge, Georgia.
The state-of-the-art facility includes a well lit enclosed show arena, an outdoor practice area with obstacles and round pen, concession stand, and a Club House with a meeting room and bathrooms.
