The United Way of Branford is an organization comprised almost entirely of volunteers that supports many social services agencies and projects in the community and beyond. Over 2,300 United Way organizations, including our own, are at work throughout the United States supporting the greatest variety of human services, second only to the U.S. government. Since its inception, The United Way has sought to simplify the giving process and focus its attention on making a difference. The funds allocation process is carried out by a volunteer committee and is based on the community's needs. United Way of Branford prides itself on being one of the nation's most efficient charitable organizations, keeping administrative and fund-raising costs to a minimum.
