Unity Church of Truth is a spiritual community in which the power of God's love transforms lives and inspires us to express our divine potential.

Unity Church of Truth offers positive, practical spirituality, based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. We honor and respect all paths to God. Our doors are open to all who seek to find their unity with God and with all life.

Core Values Statement

We at Unity Church of Truth believe that there is only One Power and One Presence active in the universe and in our lives, God, the Good, Omnipotent. We believe that the Christ divinity that was fully expressed in Jesus exists as potential in every human being. We believe that the ideas, attitudes, and beliefs we hold in our mind are the main determining factors in the way we create and experience life.

Our Core Values

Prayer and Meditation: Prayer and meditation are central to the Unity movement and to our church. Prayer is creative thinking that heightens the connection with God Mind and therefore brings forth wisdom, healing, prosperity and everything good. Through prayer we align ourselves with the omnipresence of God; we do not ask God to change or do something. In meditation we are receptive to God's guidance.

Healing: Following in the footsteps of Jesus, we are committed to healing on all levels. We believe that health and wholeness are our natural state.

Integrity: We live in integrity by expressing our innate wholeness, accepting responsibility for our actions and interactions with others. We are committed to authentic, open and direct communication with each other. We seek to practice and apply Unity teachings in our every thought, word, and deed.

Unconditional Love: We believe the nature of God is unconditional love and acceptance. God is the ever-present Source from which all good flows. Realizing and accepting our oneness with God, we extend love to all.

Diversity: We accept and support the uniqueness of each person. We embrace our oneness as a community of all races, ages, sexual orientation, and life experiences.

Peace: We create peace and harmony by recognizing, acknowledging and honoring the God (good) in each other. We are committed to maintaining a bond of peace through the practice of agreeing and disagreeing in love.

Education: Knowing that we are here to learn and grow, we strive to educate ourselves by studying Unity philosophy and spiritual teachings and opening ourselves to the teacher within. Through ongoing classes, activities, and book study groups, we support each other in our lifelong spiritual growth.

Joy: We experience joy as we center our awareness in God. We radiate joy through fellowship, worship, music and other expressions.

Service: We express the indwelling Christ by serving others.

Empowerment: We empower ourselves by claiming and expressing our divinity as a child of God. We know that true power is the power of God within working through us. Authentic power is being aligned with Spirit.

Reverence for Life: Through our Unity Consciousness we recognize our responsibility to be good stewards of ourselves, each other, and our environment.
