Founded in 1855 by Dr. Eric Norelius, Vasa Lutheran Church still maintains strong ties to its Swedish heritage. It is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) and dominates the picturesque country landscape of Vasa, Minnesota.
Vasa Lutheran Church is located about 50 miles south of St. Paul and about 50 miles north of Rochester, Minnesota. Specifically, the church is between the towns of Cannon Falls and Red Wing. From State Hwy. 19, go north on Cty. Rd. 7, follow the L-curve to the right, and the church is on the left.
