Founded in 2002 Wakefield Youth Lacrosse Association (WYLA) was created to provide the children of Wakefield an opportunity to learn and participate in the sport of Lacrosse. The association strives to offer a program that sets and maintains high standards of sportsmanship, ethics and integrity amongst all of its participants. 

Wakefield Youth Lacrosse Association provides travel team programs for both boys and girls 15 & under.  Intramural co-ed teams for children through 6th grade are also available. 

As the primary feeder program to the Wakefield High School Lacrosse program. WYLA has developed a strong relationship with both the Boys and Girls High School Lacrosse programs. This relationship benefits both WYLA and the High School program by coordinating our activities in promoting the sport of Lacrosse among the youth of Wakefield.
