Waldvogel's Farm

Waldvogel's Farm
N7416 County Road I
920-885-9590

History:

Waldvogel's Farm is owned and operated by Phil & Debbie Waldvogel and family.

Phil was born and raised on a dairy farm in northern Wisconsin but was always interested in the production and growing of different crops.

Debbie was born in the city of Antigo and graduated from UW Stevens Point with a degree in Business Education.

Phil and Debbie were married in 1973, and in 1977 relocated to their present location in Dodge County where they began growing field corn and soybeans. Phil also noticed this was also an excellent area for growing sweet corn, and they opened a small roadside market offering "pick your own" and growing about 15 different crops. Over the years, the market has expanded several times.

As our children, Julie, Kevin, and Mike, entered preschool, we began to offer school tours to the pumpkin patch. This has grown into our Fall Festival which has become our busiest time of the year. After years of being known as "The Pumpkin Farm," Waldvogel's will again live up to its nickname. Waldvogel's will be concentrating on our popular Fall Family Fun Festival offering fall produce, baked items from our on-farm bakery, fall hayrides, school tours, farm fun and much more.

Although our children are now grown, they continue to help on the farm when they can. Julie, a graduate of Ripon College and UW-Milwaukee, and now works at Moraine Park Technical College as a Financial Aid Associate. Julie married Luke Leitner this July, and he is a Student Life Assistant at Fox Valley Tech College.

Kevin is a graduate of UW Stout with a Graphics Computer Management Degree. He works at The Printery and is living in the Milwaukee area. Mike is a graduate of UW Stout with a Marketing and Business Education degree and is an online teacher and helps out with the farm business. While Debbie no longer teaches, in addition to managing the farm market she has served as Clerk/Treasurer for the Town of Burnett for many years.
