Walnut Grove Farm
Walnut Grove Farm, a small, family farming operation for over 25 years, has ventured into Community Supported Agriculture (CSA).
Each week, our members receive a bountiful share of delicious, farm raised produce, including heirloom varieties. (Have you ever had a Chocolate Cherry tomato? YUM!)
We will also be providing fresh, culinary herbs, and eggs, beef, and chicken throughout the 12 week period, as well as the occasional delightful bouquet of flowers or other surprises from time to time.
Our members will be receiving the Walnut Grove Farm weekly newsletter via email, a fun, informative way to stay in touch with the Farm, receive serving tips, and recipe ideas! Introduce your family to the joys of fresh, nutritious, local foods!
Walnut Grove is part of Green Gables Farms, and is a family owned CSA and farming operation in New Philadelphia, Ohio, in the beautiful Crooked Run Valley. We offer naturally grown beef, pork, and poultry products, farm-fresh eggs, fruits, and vegetables, including many heirloom varieties. We offer these through our CSA as well as local farm markets, particularly the Tuscarawas Valley Family Farm Market in Dover, Ohio. The market is held each Wednesday from June through October, from 3-7 pm at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds. Walnut Grove Farm is owned by Dave and Jennifer Kneuss and their six children, and an interesting note is that Jennifer first met Dave in 1983 when he was selling fresh produce from his truck farming operation at a downtown Dover Farmer's Market! Their six children are all committed to environmentalism as well.
CSA Details:
Season: July through September
Type: Single farm
No of Shares: 15
Full Share: A full summer share is $360 for a 12 week season. A share feeds a family of four for approximately one week.

Tuscarawas Valley Family Farm Market (Wed)
For those unable to pick up on the farm, we can sometimes arrange for a pickup at our Market stand. However, we encourage all pickups not to miss out on the on-farm experience on Tuesday evenings!
