PURPOSE

The purpose of this church shall be to glorify our Lord by fulfilling the following objectives for which He has established His Body (the church) on earth to:

• Love the Lord thy God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. (Matt. 22:37)

• Love your neighbor as yourself. (Matt. 22:39)

• Worship Almighty God as He has revealed Himself. (John 4:24; Psalm 96:1-13)

• Preach and teach faithfully the Word of God. (2 Tim. 4:2; 2:1,2)

• Build up believers unto maturity in Christ as committed disciples. (Eph. 4:11-16)

• Evangelize the lost in our community by consistent witness and example. (Acts 1:8)

• Promote and support missionary outreach throughout the whole world. (Matt.28:19,20)

• Administer the New Testament ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.  (Matt. 28:19; 1 Cor. 11:23-26)

• Maintain Christian fellowship, discipline, and prayer.(Acts 2:42; Gal. 6:1; Matt. 18:15-20)
