About Us:

We are a private membership, non-for-profit organization. All of our events are open to the public. We feature several stocked fishing lakes, family camping, picnicking areas and much more!! We work hard to bring to our members a top notch family oriented recreational area. The club also participates in programs and events that give back to the community.

The Waterloo Sportsman’s Club sits on over 200 acres between Waterloo and Red Bud Illinois. We have seven spacious pavilions. Two of which are climate controlled. Four lakes, prime for fishing are located on our club. Our smallest lake at 2.5 acres is a kids only lake. To fish on this lake you must be 15 years old or younger! Our largest lake, the #2 lake is 18 acres. It is situated behind our main pavilion, bar room and kitchen. We do offer boats for rent for only $3 a day!! Life jackets and oars are provided if needed. Two guest fishermen are allowed per membership card for $5 per guest.

One of our main features is the 3 campgrounds. We offer 55+ sites with water and electric at all of the sites. There are two dump stations on the premises for your convenience. There are two full shower houses. Camping for members is $5 a night. A member can bring a guest along to camp for $10. The club also has two primitive campgrounds for those die hard tent campers!! There is a fee of $3 a night for the primitive sites. These sites are also host to local Boy Scout Troops.

For the children we have 4 playgrounds, a baseball diamond, two basketball courts and a sand volleyball court. Many swings, slides monkey bars and two merry-go-rounds for their enjoyment.
