Mission Statement:

To promote business and a healthy economic environment in West Anne Arundel County.

The West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce has been in existence since 1962. Founded as the Odenton Chamber, and later called the Greater Odenton Chamber, its name changed again in 1989 to better represent all of the West county and became the West Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce. In 1989, there were approximately 65 members, and today the organization represents more than 400 businesses. WAACCC is located at the intersection of Route 175 and Piney Orchard Parkway in the Academy Junction Plaza Building in Odenton.

According to the 2000 Census, there were 99,436 people in our service area. Additionally, there are 1800 business in our trade area, including those located in the National Business Parkway Corridor; the area of high tech growth designated by County Executive Janet Owens.
