West Central Baptist Association
WCBA Mission Statement
Recognizing our unity under the Lordship of Christ and our common mission received from Him, cooperating Baptist churches have voluntarily affiliated with the West Central Baptist Association for the purpose of extending the kingdom of God in the following ways:
To cultivate opportunities of fellowship for mutual encouragement and example to the cooperating churches.
To provide challenge and consultation to the churches in Reaching, Teaching, and Discipling.
To serve as a network and resource center for churches to assist them in the ministries of Missions, Evangelism, Christian Education, and Stewardship.
To serve as a channel and forum for affirming our doctrines and distinctive as presented in the "Baptist Faith and Message 2000."
To aid in the establishment of ministries missions and new churches.
To assist in developing and deploying skilled and godly leadership toward cultivating, serving, and equipping healthy churches.
This Association has no authority over the churches affiliated with it. However, the Association may, upon invitation from a church, advise with that church. It may also withdraw fellowship from a church considered by the Association to be out of harmony in doctrine or conduct.
