Vision :

The vision Weston County School District #1 Board of Trustees has for the school district for the next 5 years is to provide a well rounded education with the best possible educators to address the needs of all students and inspire them to succeed in the real world.*

*A well rounded education includes a good basic education (math, science, social studies and language arts) as well as P.E./Health, Foreign Language, Fine and Performing Arts and Vocational education. The term "best possible educators" suggest that we should hire and keep the best educators we possibly can and encourage them to get multiple endorsements for certification. To address the needs of all students suggest that all students' needs should be addressed regardless of level of performance. To inspire them to succeed in the real world is to increase the career guidance for students.
