Westside Skydivers was founded by Joseph Johnson (Jumpin' Joe) in May 2010 at our Winsted, MN location. Joe has had a passion for his customers and sharing the thrill of skydiving to as many people as he can. Westside Skydivers is located in Winsted, MN just 30 miles from Minnetonka on Hwy 7. Westside Skydivers is the closest skydiving drop zone to the Twin Cities and the western suburbs. Our second location NOW OPEN in Sealy, TX is located just 45 minutes west of downtown Houston on 10. Our staff is held to higher standards and professionalism is number one in all we do. We at Westside Skydivers want your experience to be the best possible. We want our students to take part in every step of the process. Tandem students are able to monitor their altitude on their own and deploy and steer the parachute. This is no carnival ride; you are a part of the whole experience. Westside Skydivers uses United Parachute Technologies Micro Sigma tandem equipment, the newest in the industry. Our AFP (Advanced Freefall Program) students are jumping the newest gear from Aerodyne. Westside Skydivers has handpicked the best instructors from the area. We pride ourselves in being the only skydiving center to drug test its employees to ensure your safety.
