Weekly basket of mixed vegetables* and herbs available from late June through September and into October. Baskets include enough for a family of 4, or 2 vegetarians. Can also include surplus for freezing or canning. Pastured Eggs are available, either as an extra, or can be included in your share. Pastured Pig CSA shares are available. Call for details. Fresh chicken available, too, in season, as an extra. *Greens, both salad and braising type, root crops, tomatoes, amazing sweet corn, potatoes, green beans, peas, cukes and zucchini, summer squash, cabbage, broccoli, and much more. Whippoorwill Hill Farm is a small scale, diversified farm located in the foothills of Maine's western mountains. We have focused for 35 years on sustainable agriculture and right livelihood for optimal health and well being for ourselves, our community and the planet.

We offer our products to the public to in order to reach out and share the wealth and benefits of the farm. We are committed understanding the Circle of Life and raise heritage breed Shetland sheep for meat and wool, pastured pigs and poultry for both eggs and meat. Horses and cattle are also important on our farm, and we use animal power to work the land, both in forestry and farming. We also make maple syrup and keep bees.
