Mission

It is the mission of the district, in partnership with parents and the community, to provide a safe educational environment, which encourages responsibility, accountability, and challenges all students to become motivated life-long learners.

District Goals

The Williams Unified School District shall strive to insure all students become socially responsible, technologically competitive, good communicators, and respectful to themselves and others.

The Williams Unified School District shall continue to provide opportunities for community and parental involvement in the educational process.

The Williams Unified School District shall provide classroom instruction that has a consistent emphasis on handwriting and the writing process. The goal is for students to demonstrate mastery in language skills and English.

The Williams Unified School District shall maintain a safe learning environment for students, staff, and parents.

The Williams Unified School District shall teach students good organization and time management skills. Students shall learn how to set individual goals and the process necessary to follow through and achieve these goals.

The Williams Unified School District shall align curriculum with the new state standards and prepare students for the High School Exit Exam.
