Our History:
Established in 1962 as Williamsburg County
Memorial Hospital, the doors to a new 50,800 square foot facility were opened in 1965. In 1980, a 5,997 square foot Emergency Department was opened to replace the existing two-bed department. and consisted of four examining rooms and three trauma beds. A new 5,604 square foot patient wing, consisting of 10 private rooms, was added in 1980.
In 2000, a 13,559 square foot Medical Plaza and Rehabilitation Building was constructed on an off-campus site. The main facility was dedicated as a community-owned not-for-profit hospital in early 2001.

Located in Kingstree, South Carolina Williamsburg Regional Hospital is a fully accredited acute care hospital, offering expanded services and technology to the residents of Williamsburg County and the surrounding area.
