If you have a HEART for Hospice, we can teach you the how to do the work!!!

New hospice volunteers participate in a free training program. Training provides new volunteers with information regarding the hospice philosophy of care, volunteer roles, communication skills, psychosocial and spiritual aspects of death and the team approach to hospice care.

Our volunteers provide companionship to the patient and family member and often provide relief for the caregiver. Volunteers perform many services -- whether it is sitting with the patient, running errands, reading, watching TV or listening to the patient or family member YOU CAN CHOOSE what your special service will be.
