Wolftrap Elementary School has served elementary-age children in the Vienna community for over 35 years. The school has strong traditions and prides itself on offering children a safe, nurturing, and challenging learning environment.

Parent volunteers support the instructional program in a variety of ways, ranging from help in the classrooms to coordinating schoolwide events. Parents help enrich our strong academic focus with programs such as GRACE Art and the Wolfee Environmental Education Programs. Staff members at Wolftrap work closely with one another and with parents to assure that students are receiving appropriate educational experiences. Students are challenged to go beyond the acquisition of information to the creation of new ideas.

Wolftrap Elementary School has a strong commitment to community service. For example, sixth grade students serve Thanksgiving dinner to a local senior citizens' group and donations of clothing and supplies are routinely made to organizations in the area. With a focus on personal achievement and responsibility to the community at large, Wolftrap is preparing students to become productive, contributing citizens.
