Yokna (patawpha) Bottoms Farm is located on the outskirts of Oxford, MS and is dedicated to serving it's community and the surrounding area fresh, local and organic produce throughout the year by practicing and promoting sustainable agriculture. We grow year-round and focus on many native species and heirloom varieties of fruit and vegetable. Through educational outreach programs, Yokna Bottoms is partnering with local schools from elementary to the university in its effort to make Mississippi a little bit more healthier, happier and cleaner.
Whether you are an individual, family, school or business - there are many ways to work with and support Yokna Bottoms! Join our CSA (6 mo. membership, May-Oct), purchase produce for your restaurant, visit us at the local farmer's markets, apply for a summer internship, take a farm tour or come on out to one of our many fun events throughout the year!
Our CSA is unique, in that we function "farmer's market style". Each weekend in season, we pick what is ready and bring it to our distributions in town. Each shareholder then selects the produce they wish to bring home with them up to a pre-determined amount, so your share is customizable to your taste and appetite. While full shares cost $400/year, shares can be split into half-shares and spread betwen two families or individuals. UPick shares can be purchased for just $300.
