YWCA of Massillon, operating as a non-profit organization, is to provide social services to the residents of Stark County, OH.

These social services and programs include childcare and other services supporting the family unit.

Our survival and growth depends on funding obtained from grants, donations, membership, endowment, and fees for services performed.

Our philosophy is that child care should provide opportunities and experiences to stimulate a child's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development, while promoting self-image and encouraging physical fitness in a safe, healthy environment.

The YWCA of Massillon aims to support and strengthen the family unit while evolving to become the premier social and community leader in providing these social services.

In order to compete with other established organizations, our board, staff, and volunteers, valued assets of our organization, must be educated, experienced, and dedicated to our mission, values, and beliefs.
