About Us:

Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, is a TLC congregation: Traditional, Liturgical, Confessional. TRADITIONAL: Our congregation boldly confesses that the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God which forms and informs our beliefs and practices. The Bible tells of the sorry condition of sinful humanity and the depths of the love of our Heavenly Father. This love finds its fullness in the person and work of Jesus, who being the Son of God, became human in His birth of the Virgin Mary and offered up His life to win the salvation of all mankind. This amazing grace makes us His children and leads us to reach out to those around us. This undeserved love is proclaimed from our pulpit, found in every worship service, and taught in our Sunday School and Bible Classes. LITURGICAL: Fads don’t faze us. Our services are grounded in the ancient and living rhythms of worship found in all Christian eras. Plus, we love to sing! We use the full catalogue of Christian hymnody over the centuries. CONFESSIONAL: You don't have to guess what we believe. Our confession of faith is found in the foundational documents of the Lutheran Church, as drawn from Scripture, and know collectively as the Book of Concord. In essence where Martin Luther stood we still stand.
