The restored Dixie Center for the Arts will be used for the following:

Performing Arts hall with 600 seats, for live performances of dance, theatre, and music of all kinds, including family entertainment

Movie theatre with modern projection equipment, for showing classic films, and other movies that don't run in other theaters

Community Arts School, for after school lessons in music, dance, painting, drama, etc.

Community center with meeting rooms for organizations or conferences

Home and offices for Ruston Community Theatre, North Central Louisiana Arts Council, and the Ruston Civic Symphony Society

Art gallery for sales of art by local artists, and exhibits of all kinds of art

Available for rent by organizations, business, or individuals on a first-come-first-served basis
