The Grohmann Museum at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) is home to the world’s most comprehensive art collection dedicated to the evolution of human work, The Eckhart G. Grohmann Collection “Man at Work.” More than 700 paintings and sculptures span more than 400 years of history (c. 1580 earliest-2007 latest). The museum and the collection were gifted by Milwaukee businessman and collector Dr. Eckhart Grohmann, MSOE Regent, He donated this collection to MSOE in 2001 and subsequently the funds to purchase, renovate and operate the museum that bears his name.
