Dr. Brock J. Lanier is a UCI Health plastic surgeon who specializes in aesthetic procedures as well as microsurgery and reconstructive surgery for trauma and cancer patients, including breast and skin cancer.
His practice has a particular focus on breast reconstruction and complex tumor removal during breast cancer surgery and his clinical interests include reconstruction for lymphedema, trauma injury, limb salvage and wound management.
Lanier earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He received residency training in general surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., as well as a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Keck School of Medicine at USC in Los Angeles. He completed a fellowship in surgical oncology and cancer immunotherapy at the National Institutes of Health’s National Cancer Institute Center for Cancer Research in Bethesda, Md., and a fellowship in microsurgery at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif.
Lanier also publishes in academic journals and makes presentations at professional conferences.
