Christopher Vetter, M.D., earned his medical degree at Ross University College of Medicine after obtaining a master's degree in medical science at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He subsequently completed a residency in General Surgery at Carle Foundation Hospital / Carle Illinois College of Medicine. During this time, he published peer-reviewed research in the fields of hernia surgery and breast surgical oncology and served as a Councilor of the Illinois Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He has obtained additional certifications in medical informatics, quality and safety, and robotic surgery. Dr. Vetter specializes in general surgery including minimally invasive, abdominal, hernia, breast and endocrine surgery. He also has a strong interest in medical informatics and its applications with regard toperformance improvement. In his spare time, Dr. Vetter enjoys hiking and spending time with his family and golden retriever.
