German Ojeda-Correal, M.D., is a non-surgical spine care physician and the director of musculoskeletal rehabilitation at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Ojeda-Correal specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders, electrodiagnostic medicine and spine disorders. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Prior to joining Miami Neuroscience Institute in 2022, Dr. Ojeda-Correal served as a physiatrist at Conviva Physicians.
Dr. Ojeda-Correal’s work has been published in PM&R, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Journal, the American Journal of Physical Medicine, and multiple electronic publications and book chapters. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Ojeda-Correal’s approach to patient care is based on listening to the patient. The amount of information he receives contributes to determining the patient’s diagnosis and seeing from the patient’s perspective gives him a better understanding of the situation. Helping the patient feel relief at the end of their treatment rewards him with a sense of satisfaction.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Ojeda-Correal enjoys spending time with family, biking, reading, listening to audiobooks and traveling.
