Dr. Englander graduated magna cum laude from State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Vermont, and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He then completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Dr. Englander has been practicing gastroenterology in Palm Beach County since 1991. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He has privileges at Good Samaritan Medical Center, St. Mary’s Medical Center, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, JFK Medical Center North Campus and Kindred Hospital. He has served as chief of gastroenterology at St. Mary’s Medical Center and chief of medicine at Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach. In 2012, he was named Outstanding Physician at West Palm Hospital. Dr. Englander is married and has an adult daughter. He enjoys skiing and playing with his Redbone Hound named Red.
