Dr. Jinwen Ingrid Lin earned her Bachelor degree from University of California, San Diego in BioChemistry. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. She completed her residency at LA County + USC Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. She is Board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Medicine has always fascinated her since childhood. Growing up in China, she loved stories of ancient medical practitioner curing diseases with simplistic techniques and herbs. When she immigrated to California as teenager, her parents worked as nursing assistants with handicapped children. Seeing their commitment and compassion in caring for them, further affirmed her decision to pursue a career in health care. She chose OB/GYN as her specialty for many reasons. She enjoys delivering care to women of all ages, from pre-adolescent to postmenopausal, and forming life-long relationships along the way. She also loves the wide range of procedures she can provide for women, from the exciting childbirth experience to complex gynecological surgeries, including minimal invasive procedures. She also plays an important role as an educator, supporter, and advocator for her patients. She wants to provide quality and compassionate care, one patient at a time, to promote health and well-being. She speaks Mandarin Chinese fluently and also proficient in medical Spanish.
Outside of work, She enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, traveling, enjoying the beach, great weather and plethora of gourmet foods that southern California provides.
