K. Michael Scharff, MD, FACOG is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he also completed his residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
Dr. Scharff has been in practice for more than ten years and sees patients of all ages. He has medical interests in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, including robotic-assisted surgery, and health information and formatics. He most recently served as chairman of the OB/GYN departments at Anderson Hospital and Gateway Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Scharff is a fellow with the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and SSM Health Maternal Services President’s Advisory Board. Prior to his career as a physician, Dr. Scharff served for eight years as a sergeant with the United States Army and Army Reserve.
