Dr. Pence is a Family Practice physician who completed medical school at the Ohio State University School of Medicine, and her Family Practice residency at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL. She also completed a fellowship in High Risk Obstetrics at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Pence boasts an extensive background of national and international teaching and research experience; including teaching Global Health 101 in Columbus, OH, where she worked with the American Medical Student Association to create a global health course for medical students. She also traveled to Arusha, Tanzania where she taught HIV/AIDS education and conducted funded independent research on the education of HIV/AIDS in the secondary school. She has volunteered in medical clinics internationally in Guatemala, Thailand and Lesotho.

Dr. Pence has been a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians since 2010 and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology since 2011. She joined Oaklawn Medical Group in November, 2014.
