From a very young age, Dr. Pantea Mozayeni knew she wanted to be a doctor and help others. She chose a career in obstetrics and gynecology as it affords her the opportunity to work with women of all ages, from adolescents through seniors, during all of their life stages.
In practice for over 20 years, Dr. Mozayeni brings compassion and professionalism to her patients. She diligently takes the time with each patient to get to know them and understand their specific needs. It is through this process that she can provide a high level of individualized care for her patients. Her experience includes pre-conception planning, high risk pregnancies, minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgeries, menopause and more.
Dr. Mozayeni received her medical degree with honors from the prestigious Tehran University of Medical Sciences and completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine where she attained multiple merit awards for outstanding performance. She has conducted research at University of Southern California and University of California, Los Angeles and has published multiple articles in various medical journals. Dr. Mozayeni continues to provide mentorship to college students who have aspiration of continuing their education in the field of women’s health care.
Her knowledge of languages in addition to English has allowed her to better understand and communicate with her patients who speak Farsi, French, Spanish and German. An Orange County resident, Dr. Mozayeni enjoys sailing, skiing, hiking, and reading during her time away from the office.
