Richard Capdevila, MSN, NP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner at Baptist Health Primary Care. He cares for patients with multiple chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, hypothyroidism and others. He speaks English and Spanish.
Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care in 2018, Richard worked at West Kendall Baptist Hospital Emergency Department as a registered nurse and clinical educator. He provided advanced, high-level care for people with acute conditions and injuries.
Richard is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Richard’s care philosophy is to help his patients stay proactive when it comes to their health by practicing preventive care and promoting regular checkups. He advocates for reaching a diagnosis early on so that each treatment moving forward has the best chance to make an impact.
In his free time, Richard enjoys spending time with his family, especially at the park playing soccer with his three sons. He also loves music and plays the guitar.
