A simple, warm hello can make all the difference for a patient walking into my office. Strengthening relationships with patients is a pivotal piece of my holistic, evidence-based care model. The same goes for loved ones involved in our visits. I love the connections we form through solid communication.
When people feel listened to and respected, they’re more willing to see from a new perspective or consider a lifestyle change. Those lifestyle changes are important for preventing disease. It all ties back to ensuring my patients feel well enough to enjoy their retirement years. Getting to know them on a personal level and preventing disease through education is the best part of my job. It is a privilege to have that level of trust placed in my hands.
