Susan Baker, APRN, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, is a certified nurse practitioner at Baptist Health Primary Care. She provides convenient care through a walk-in clinic for people with chronic and acute health conditions.
Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care in 2017, Susan worked as a nurse practitioner at Baptist Health Convenient Care Clinic, formerly known as, Fishermen’s Community Hospital Convenient Care Clinic. She has over 12 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care and infectious diseases. She also worked as a registered nurse for 14 years before becoming a nurse practitioner.
Susan is passionate about empowering patients to care for themselves. She teaches her patients and their families about managing conditions, caring for injuries and making healthier lifestyle choices.
Susan’s care philosophy is to care for the whole patient—mind, body and spirit. Her years of experience in many different areas of healthcare benefit her patients, helping them get the care they need.
In her free time, Susan is very active and enjoys weightlifting, bicycling, paddle boarding and fishing.
