Umaree Bybee, NP, is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology. Umaree completed her undergraduate studies at University of Missouri St. Louis and earned graduate degree of nursing from Maryville University St. Louis. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an intensive care unit nurse since 2007. She is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and EKG interpretation.
Before joining BJC, Umaree practiced as a hospitalist nurse practitioner since 2016 where she treated and diagnosed acute and chronic conditions with multidisciplinary team involving surgeons and specialists. Umaree sees patients aged 18 and above for cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension and more .
Umaree recognizes that all patients are unique and strives to take each individual’s background into consideration when providing care. She emphasizes utilizing evidence-based medicine as well as involving each patient and their family in treatment plan decisions.
Umaree has lived in St. Louis since 2000. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as baking and watching her children play sports.
