The O'side Turkey Trot is turning 20! Kick off your Thanksgiving holiday with a milestone celebration on a scenic and fast beachside course-voted "Top Trot" by Runner's World and the LA Times. Choose from one of two 5K options, or take on the "double dip" challenge and run both. It's the only time it's okay to double dip on Turkey Day!

In addition to the 5K and Kids Run, this event offers the largest teams competition, vibrant live entertainment along the course, finisher medals and t-shirts for all participants, free digital photos, and live results for all registered participants.

Benefiting the Community

In its 20th year, the Trot is proud to feature the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank as the primary nonprofit beneficiary. A $30 donation during registration helps provide a full Thanksgiving meal to a local family in need.

And just like always, participants will still have the option to support the local school or nonprofit that means the most to them-continuing a cherished Turkey Trot tradition of giving back to the North County community.

Age Group Awards for LOCAL and OPEN 

Awards

5K age group awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age category for the Local (Oceanside) and Open categories. Additionally the top 3 overall male and female finishers will share a $3,000 prize pool. Kids Race age group awards will be given for top 3 male and female finishers for the 1 Mile and 1/5 Mile. There will also be awards presented for the largest team competition.
