For 18 years, neighbors from Chandler, Gilbert, Guadalupe, Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe have come together for one simple, powerful reason: to show the world what unity looks like.
This year, the tradition of the Unity Walk continues at Tempe Beach Park on Saturday, Jan. 25, and we’d love for you to be part of it!
The evening begins at 4:30 p.m. with a diversity festival with entertainment by the Aaron Nelson Band, Dragonfly Arts Academy, Fiesta Mexicana Dance Company, and the Marcos De Niza High School Drumline. There will also be a youth engagement fair where residents can learn about how to get involved in youth-serving programs.
Have a snack then lace up your walking shoes for the one-mile Unity Walk starting at 6 p.m. in support of unity, mutual respect, and understanding.
Participation is free, and walkers will receive a commemorative t-shirt while supplies last.
Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring a sign that celebrates our city’s incredible diversity.
We’re stronger together. Let’s show it.
