Join Mayor Kevin Hartke and the Chandler community for a fun and scenic bike ride along the beautiful Paseo Trail at the 17th Annual Chandler Family Bike Ride, happening in celebration of Valley Bike Month this April. This 7.8-mile ride is perfect for cyclists of all ages and skill levels.

Free T-shirt for all Family Bike Ride participants (while supplies last)
Light refreshments and information on bicycle safety, transit services, and more

Event Schedule:

7:30 a.m: Activities and Vendor Booths

Check-in opens at 7:30 a.m., and participants can explore the lively vendor booths focused on cycling fun and safety. Be sure to visit the bike decorating station to personalize your bike, helmet, and gear. Plus, enjoy free face painting to get into the spirit of the event.

8:30 a.m: Guided 7.8-Mile Ride

The ride starts promptly at 8:30 a.m., guided by the Chandler Police Bike Team. Cyclists will travel north along the Paseo Canal to Tibshraeny Park, and then return to the start point. After the ride, enjoy a free Kona Ice to cool down and celebrate.

Virtual Ride Option:

Can’t make it in person? Participate in the Virtual Ride anytime from April 5 - 13. Ride in your neighborhood or favorite park with friends and family. Virtual riders who pre-register will also receive a free t-shirt (while supplies last).

Registration:

All participants are asked to pre-register. While we encourage creativity and fun, safety remains our top priority. Participants are required to wear helmets, and asked to obey traffic laws, and stay hydrated throughout the ride.
