Recognize and remember the men and women who have served our country and are interred in the Mausoleum at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

This annual event began in 2014, when Elizabeth Deering, then Regent of the Carrollton Manor Chapter, NSDAR, noticed that while veterans buried in-ground were being honored by the American Legion; veterans entombed in the mausoleum complex were not being remembered.

The ceremony quickly grew in partnership and purpose with those lineage organizations represented here today and have been honoring entombed veterans for the past 11 years: Carrollton Manor Chapter; NSDAR Frederick Chapter NSDAR; Sgt. Lawrence Everhart Chapter, SAR; Antietam Camp #3 SUVCW; and the Antietam Auxiliary #3, ASUVCW.
