Join us for an Art Lounge event at our vibrant and spacious westside Santa Cruz art studio! From 5–8 PM, grab a glass of wine or beer from our bar, and let your creativity flow as you dive into a craft or painting project of your choice. All supplies are included, and you'll work on your project in a fun DIY fashion with the help of written instructions or video tutorials. Reserve your spot by ordering your DIY paint or craft project online, and we’ll have everything ready for you when you arrive. Whether you’re crafting solo or with friends, it’s a perfect way to relax and express yourself! Be sure to check out the project options below and read the important details! 

The Art Lounge runs from 5–8 PM, so arrive on time to make the most of your studio visit! If you don’t finish your project in one session, no problem—join us for another Art Lounge event and choose the "touch-up" option to complete it. Coming with friends? Add their names to the comment box at checkout, and we’ll seat you together.

This event is a social, free-spirited experience rather than a step-by-step class like the ones on our monthly calendar. The music will be up, so feel free to chat, laugh, and enjoy the lively atmosphere while you create. Not in a social mood? Bring your earbuds to tune out the buzz or use them to follow a video tutorial if your project comes with one!

We’re thrilled to announce that we are now officially licensed to sell beer and wine! Treat yourself to a local beer or wine from our craft bar to make the evening even more enjoyable. Prefer something non-alcoholic? We’ve got plenty of great options for you! While you’re at it, don’t miss our menu of delicious snacks. Please note that as of 2/15/2025, BYOB will no longer be available.

The Art Lounge is designed for ages 16 and up due to the use of sharp tools and broken glass for mosaics, woodburning, and small objects that could pose a safety risk for younger kids. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. For younger creators aged 7 and up, we offer daytime painting and crafting classes on our events calendar with a more structured approach, as well as summer and spring break kids’ camp sessions. While we love having kids in the studio, safety is our priority—thanks for understanding!

As a working art studio with lots of paint and supplies, we encourage you to dress for creativity! While aprons are provided, we can’t be responsible for paint on clothing, bags, or shoes.

Seats are limited, and each attendee must purchase a project. We can’t wait to paint, craft, and create with you—let’s get our creative juices flowing and make something amazing!
