April Art Night will be held across three locations- City Hall, Encinitas Community Center, Encinitas Library and Pacific View Arts Center. With free shuttle services connecting additional partner locations at nearby businesses and galleries. Experience an evening filled with captivating art exhibitions, live musical performances and immersive workshops. Engage with artists through artist talks, meet-and greets and music. Art Night is a family friendly event that invites people of all ages to appreciate and connect with the creative expressions.

MandoBasso

Live music 7-8pm

MandoBasso is a duo featuring Gunnar Biggs on bass and Bill Bradbury on mandolin. Biggs comes from a strong background in jazz and classical performance, Bradbury from a composition and computer music background. MandoBasso (pronounced Mahndo-Bahso) performances include mostly original compositions with some traditional tunes, classical music, jazz and ragtime.

Gayle Skidmore

Seven-time San Diego Music Award nominee Gayle Skidmore has written over 2500 songs since she began songwriting at the age of 8. Gayle Skidmore won Best Pop in the 2015 San Diego Music Awards, Best Pop Album for “Sleeping Bear” in 2014, and Best Singer-Songwriter in 2013. Classically trained on the piano from the age of 4, Gayle Skidmore also plays over 20 other instruments, including the mountain dulcimer, banjo, folk harp and balalaika.
