The annual Art Tempe exhibition, presented by Tempe Community Arts, returns to Tempe Center for the Arts from Feb. 1 to Feb. 25, showcasing the incredible talents of local students. This year, the exhibition expands to include the work from middle school students alongside high school students representing total of 14 schools across the three school districts that serve Tempe — Tempe Union High School District, Tempe Elementary Schools and Kyrene School District.

Featuring over 100 works of art across a variety of mediums such as drawing, painting and ceramics, Art Tempe showcases the impact of fine arts education and the importance of fostering young creative talent in the local community.

This longstanding program is a collaboration between Tempe Community Arts and local school districts. The program provides students with a platform to share their artistic achievements with the community while inspiring future creative endeavors.

Offering the public an opportunity to meet the artists and celebrate their work. Admission to the exhibition is free.

“Each year, I am inspired by the powerful and expressive art pieces the students create,” said Tempe City Councilmember and Tempe Union High School District Governing Board member Berdetta Hodge. “I’m so honored that we get to come together to our support the next generation of artists.”

Come support talented young artists, celebrate the importance of arts education and enjoy an incredible exhibition that truly embodies the creative future of Tempe.
