Here, lasting connections to nature are made, from our majestic gardens and pioneering environmental education programs, to captivating site-specific art and outdoor concerts as the sun sets over the Hudson. Celebrate this remarkable year with us and discover even more to explore and cherish. 

Whether you're a longtime member or a first-time visitor, there's always something new to discover. Our 60th anniversary celebration kicks-off this June! Come experience the magic of Wave Hill.

Enjoy Family Art Project: Winged Wonders, special Stories in the Garden, free ice cream by OnlyRareNYC from 12:30PM-2:30PM, and so much more!

1:30PM – 3:30PM: Great Pollinator Ramble

A roving host of larger-than-life pollinator puppets, created by Processional Arts Workshop, will inhabit every corner of the gardens. Explore the garden to find different species of Hudson Valley bees, butterflies, beetles, and birds hidden among the greenery.

1PM – 6PM: Flower Garden Favorites Potting Station

Pot up seedlings of iconic, easy-to-grow flowers featured in our Flower Garden and bring a bit of Wave Hill home. Learn some Wave Hill garden history, including the story of the “$16.30 Garden” planted by Marco Polo Stufano and John Nally in 1982, which set the stage for the Flower Garden that we know today.

7PM - Party in the Gardens

Enjoy extended evening hours, picnicking on the lawn, dancing, and sunset performances!

Brass Queens

The New York-based, female-led Brass Queens returns to Wave Hill with their signature style that sits at the intersection of the Big Apple and the Big Easy.
