The 2-mile option is one loop with 515 feet of elevation gain, and the 4-mile option is 2 loops with 1,030 feet of elevation gain. 

Courses are a mix of foot trails (75%), rocky carriage path (25%) and grassy fields (5%).  This is a super fun and technical course -- lots of rocks, loose rocks, roots, stumps, uneven footing, etc. 

Each registrant receives a t-shirt, a custom finisher medal and a free craft beer at Upward Brewing’s bar!

Set on Upward Brewing Company’s 120-acre mountain plot in the Catskill Mountains, the Beer Mountain Challenge is a trail run with two distance options for runners – 2 mile and 4 mile.  Appropriately dubbed, Beer Mountain peaks at 1,870 feet and is covered in a network of trails up, down and across the mountain – all located on Upward Brewing’s property!

Schedule:

All participants must arrive between 10am and 10:30am

11:00am Start – both 2-mile and 4-mile participants will start at the same time.

1:00pm End – course will close at 1:00pm and event ends.
