This will be the third Pillar class on the Big History topic, a relatively new course about the entire 13.8 billion year history of
the universe. In this session, we will focus on human evolution, the development of agriculture and the associated rise of
civilizations, and, finally, the impact of industrialization.
Carol Bach: MD in Medicine from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.
Sarah Young: MS in Biology from Stanford University and a BS in Biology from Stanford University.
Randy Stiles: PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University.
