An evening of vibrant contrasts, from the wittiness of Milhaud's jazz-infused Suite to the rhythmic energy of Cindy McTee's Stepping Out and Shostakovich's intense Quartet No. 7. The program concludes with Brahms's luminous C major Piano Trio, performed by BMC President Jason Posnock, Senior Director of Artistic Planning Nicholas Tzavaras, and renowned faculty pianist Norman Krieger.
